November 14, 2024, 8:40 AM

Update: 8:37 a.m. Thursday -- The Detroit Tigers will now be offered on FanDuel sports, according to a report in the Detroit News.

Initially, it was reported that it would just be the Red Wings and the Pistons. That has now changed.

Reported Wednesday

If you don't have a monthly or season subscription, starting Dec. 5,  you'll be able to pay $6.99 per game for Detroit hockey and basketball games, the Detroit News reports.

"The addition of single-game pricing allows fans to now catch their local NBA and NHL teams on a game-by-game basis, enhancing the flexibility of our offering," FanDuel Sports Network exec Michael Schneider said in a statement Tuesday. "This is yet another example of how we remain committed to delivering an array of viewing options and features to make it easier for our viewers to watch their favorite teams.”

The offer, for now, does not include Tigers baseball, but Diamond Sports Group continues to negotiate with multiple MLB teams for broadcasting in 2025 and beyond, including the Tigers, the News reports.
