Detroit Lions Linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez Tears ACL, Out for Season

Say it ain't so.

Deep into the season, the battered but victorious Detroit Lions have lost another warrior on the battlefield.

Linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez, 25, who was drafted. by the Lions in the sixth round in 2022, tore his ACL in his right knee during Thursday's Thanksgiving 23-20  victory over the Chicago Bears, and is done for the season, the NFL Network reports.

Agent Drew Rosenhaus tells ESPN the Lions are signing Kwon Alexander off the Denver Broncos practice squad. 

The 11-1 Lions are being tested with a slew of injuries as they continue their march forward.
