IRS agents earlier this week raided the Flight Club topless bar in Inkster owned by Alan Markovitz, who has operated strip clubs in Metro Detroit for decades, the Detroit News reports. He was once featured in a TV series on Cinemax titled "Topless Prophet."
Robert Snell of the Detroit News reports:
The focus of the raid Wednesday is unclear, but it happened five months after a business associate accused the strip club mogul of skimming cash from a company that owns Flight Club property while concealing profits and income from the IRS and Michigan Department of Treasury. The allegations emerged in a Wayne County Circuit Court lawsuit in July while Markovitz was on parole stemming from a 2023 federal conviction for helping the business associate, Ronald Szolack, lie to agents during a bank fraud investigation...
The strip club president is Edward Muczynski, whose lawyer, Marc Deldin, declined comment.
