Yellow Light Coffee & Donuts Officially Opens in Detroit's Michigan Central Station

Yellow Light Coffee & Donuts has officially opened at the renovated Michigan Central Station in Detroit's Corktown.

The shop, which also has a location at 14447 E. Jefferson Ave. in Detroit, had its grand opening on Friday.

The shop, which offers biscuit sandwiches, donuts and house-roasted coffee, is run by InLaws Hospitality, which also owns popular Detroit places including Green Dot Stables, Johnny Noodle King, and Blitzen’s on Bagley.

The 100-year-old Metropolitan Building on John R Street reopened in 2019 after a $33-million renovation. It had been empty 40 years.
