The Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office has decided not to file charges against rapper and songwriter Nicki Manaj following assault allegations in April at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
The proseucutor's office, citing insufficient evidence, said Monday in a press release that it had denied a warrant request from the Detroit Police Department that alleged Minaj, 42, assaulted her former employee, Brandon Garrett, 40, of Sun Valley ,Calif., around 2:30 p.m. at the arena.
Minaj was in Detroit on her concert tour.
