Ven Johnson Law will become the second known office tenant in Dan Gilbert's Hudson's Detroit project on Woodward Avenue downtown, joining General Motors, the anchor tenant, Crain's Detroit Business reports.

Ven Johnson will lease 22,000 square feet on the fifth floor, and is expected to move in this fall.

The law firm is currently in the Buhl Building, a Gilbert-owned property nearby, on Griswold, in downtown Detroit.

On Facebook, Ven Johnson announced:

"Have you heard the news? Ven Johnson Law is making moves!
With our brand-new office in downtown Kalamazoo, expanded office in Flint and the relocation of our headquarters to the newly constructed Hudson's Detroit building, we're more committed than ever to fighting for our clients — both statewide and nationwide."
