Watch the livestreaming of Detroit's first mayoral forum of the 2025 primary election to replace outgoing.
The candidate forum will start around 12:30 p.m. after the welcome reception concludes on the first-floor dining room at the Riverside Marina, 11000 Freud Street on Detroit’s eastside.
Jeremy Allan, executive editor for the Michigan Chronicle, will ask the questions of the candidate.
The candidates who are participating include: businessman Jonathon Barlow; former DPD chief James Craig; Councilman Fred Durhal; former Council President and CEO of THAW Saunteel Jenkins; attorney Todd Perkins and current City Council President Mary Sheffield.
