Treat Dreams Ice Cream in Ferndale Turning Space Into Food Hall

Treat Dreams, the popular homemade ice cream shop on Woodward Avenue north of 9 Mile Road in Ferndale, is converting its 4,000-square-foot space into a food hall, Crain’s Detroit Business reports.

The space, to be called The Pavilion, will feature six food concepts, including Treat Dreams, according to Crain’s.

The hall is expected to open Jan. 15. The ice cream shop will remain open during the transition.

Food options at the hall will include vegan,  Asian cuisine, a coffee, smoothie, and non-alcoholic drink shop, Venezuelan food, and a spot that will rotate vendors monthly.
