Slows Bar Bq Berkley Has Opened Its Doors

Slows Bar BQ Berkley, at 3087 W. 12 Mile Rd. in Berkley, opened Friday.

The restaurant took over the space previously occupied by Berkley Common. The second floor will be reserved for private parties.

Slows opened its original restaurant on Michigan Avenue at the corner of 14th Street in Detroit’s Corktown in September 2005. It has a second Detroit location, Slows To Go, on Cass Avenue in Midtown.

Slows recently opened an Ann Arbor location at 207 E. Washington.
