The wildly popular Chick-fil-A chain plans to open an outlet Thursday in the First National Building on Woodward Avenue in the heart of downtown Detroit.
The outlet will join other restaurants in the building, including Shake Shack and Central Kitchen + Bar. The building is owned by Dan Gilbert’s real estate division.
In 2017, Chick-fil-A opened a shop at the Detroit Medical Center in Midtown Detroit, and more recently on Mack Avenue in Detroit.
The chain also has other locations in Metro Detroit, including Allen Park, Livonia, Metro Airport, and the Somerset Collection in Troy.
