Caribou Coffee Closing in Ferndale and Allen Park

Caribou Coffee shops in Ferndale and Allen Park are closing March 24, the Detroit News reports.

The Ferndale shop at 22134 Woodward opened in late 2023, and the Allen Park store opened at 16006 Southfield in March 2024.

JAB Holding Company, a German-based investment firm, acquired Caribou Coffee in 2012. The company also owns Panera Bread and Einstein Bros. Bagels.
