East Coast-based food critic Nik Metcalf, who is traveling around the country sampling foods on his "Trying Shit Across America" tour, recently hit Taystee's Burgers at 12923 Dix Toledo Rd. in Southgate.
Metcalf, from New Haven, Conn., tried the coney dog and a burger and gave them a thumbs up.
