After six years at WDIV, reporter Victor Williams is leaving.
The announcement came Friday night on the air.
"My journey has come to an end," he said. "I'll be heading to Atlanta, Georgia, back home to be closer to my dad. I'll be starting at WANF as a weekend anchor there and a reporter."
The Atlanta native and skateboard enthusiast said he wanted to "thank everyone that made this journey here special."
Before coming to WDIV he worked at WOIO in Cleveland, WLOX News in Biloxi, Miss., and WBBJ in Jackson, Tenn.
